MSc Physical Therapy student
University College London, United Kingdom
I am a Bank Physiotherapist at The Clementine Churchill Hospital and an MSc Physical Therapy Student at the prestigious University College London. My passion lies in improving patient outcomes through the application of evidence-based practice and individualized care.
At The Clementine Churchill Hospital, I have had the opportunity to work with various orthopaedic and neurological patients, providing quality pre-op and post-op care. I am skilled in conducting assessments, administering therapeutic exercises, and providing manual therapy techniques, always prioritizing patient safety and comfort. I have also been exposed to an ITU setup with neurological patients, gaining valuable experience in critical care.
As an MSc Physical Therapy Student, I am gaining comprehensive theoretical and practical expertise in various areas of rehabilitation, with a particular focus on musculoskeletal conditions. My coursework at UCL equips me with advanced knowledge in musculoskeletal assessment, therapeutic interventions, and research methodologies. I have also published a paper in the International Journal of Scientific Research on the effectiveness of a novel physiotherapy intervention for low back pain.
I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP) and hold registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC), which keep me updated with the latest research and best practices in the field. I also hold multiple certifications in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, Advanced Myofascial Release, and Cupping Dynamics, which enhance my skills and competencies as a physiotherapist.
I am driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals I work with. By combining my academic pursuits, practical experience, and unwavering dedication, I am committed to empowering patients to achieve their optimal physical function and improve their overall quality of life.
