Roelof van Ewijk, research and clinical fellow at the Princess Máxima Center for Paediatric Oncology in Utrecht, the Netherlands. My clinical care is dedicated to children and adolescents with solid tumors. My research focus is pediatric bone and soft-tissue sarcoma, with specific interest in rhabdomyosarcoma and osteosarcoma. As part of the ERN PaedCan initiative I am one of the YI leads of the recently available European Standard Clinical Practice Guidelines for children and adolescent with osteosarcoma. Dedicated to engage and improve our care in bone sarcoma I am currently involved in the executive commitee of the Fight Osteosarcoma Through European Research (FOSTER) consortium as the lead / representative of the early career researchers (YIs). Furthermore, I am member of the educational committee of SIOP Europe.
