Dr. D’Amato an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami, where she serves as a Sarcoma Medical Oncologist, Assistant Director of Clinical Research, and Medical Director of Patient Education and the Nurse Practitioner Oncology Fellowship Program
She received her B.S. from University of Miami, M.D. from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. In 2003, during her last year of hematology/oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, she began her focus GIST and other sarcomas. In addition to her clinical service, she is also involved in clinical trials for GIST and other sarcoma and is a co-director of the oncology pathway and co-designed and co-directs the oncology-pathology advanced integrative science selective for the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine.
