Chiun Hsu, MD, PhD (he/him/his)

Dr. Chiun Hsu is currently Distinguished Professor at Graduate Institute of Oncology, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. He also serves as Director at Department of Medical Education and Research, National Taiwan University Cancer Center, Taipei, Taiwan.
Dr. Hsu received his medical degree from College of Medicine, National Taiwan University in 1992 and was awarded his PhD by the Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine at the same institution in 2004. His major research interest is clinical and translational research of new drug development for hepatobiliary cancers, and hepatitis B reactivation in cancer patients. Dr. Hsu is currently the Education Committee Chair of the Asia-Pacific Primary Liver Cancer Expert (APPLE) meeting. He serves as an Editorial Board member for Journal of Hepatology since 2020.
