Associate Professor of Medicine
Yale University
I am a medical oncologist and have been at the Yale Cancer Center since 2004. My practice is now mainly sarcoma and thyroid cancer as well as cancers of unknown primary. I am the medical director of the inpatient oncology consult service and am involved in the fellowship program. I am part of the multidisciplinary sarcoma team at Yale and work closely with my colleagues in orthopedic oncology, radiation oncology, sarcoma pathology and musculoskeletal radiology. I was proud to be an investigator on important sarcoma trials including the use of selinexor in dedifferentiated liposarcoma, tremetinib in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma and sorafenib in desmoid tumors. I see patients at the Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven, CT, USA and teach the Yale Oncology fellows, and Yale Residents and Students in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Yale Medical School.
