Dr. Sachdev Thomas, MD is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology and practices Hematology & Oncology at Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center. Dr. Thomas earned his Medical Degree at St. Johns Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed his internship at Chicago Medical School and his residency and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Loyola University Medical Center. . He is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and the American society of Internal Medicine-American College of Physicians. Dr. Thomas is a National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Program Sub-investigator as a member of SWOG Cancer Research Network, NSABP, Alliance, NRG Oncology, and Alliance for clinical trials in Oncology. He is member of the ASCO Molecular Tumor Board, The NCI ALLIANCE Rare Tumors and Early Therapeutics Committee, ASCO Volunteer and faculty for the ANCO Precision Oncology Symposium. Awards include the NCI CCOP Clinical Trial award. As a member of the Northern California Regional sub-specialty Genomic Oncology Committee since April 2019, Dr. Thomas has collaborated on data analysis of emerging therapeutics, which has been incorporated into the National KP Oncology Care Pathways. His practice consists primarily of Genomic Oncology Malignant Hematology and GU Cancers, and he leads the KPNC multi-disciplinary Genomic Oncology Tumor Board. He is the author or co-author of several peer reviewed publications in precision Oncology
