Lead Pediatric Radiation Oncologist

Matthew D. Hall, M.D., MBA – Radiation Oncology
Dr. Hall is the lead pediatric radiation oncologist at Miami Cancer Institute and associate professor of radiation oncology and pediatrics at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, Florida International University. He is fellowship trained in pediatric proton therapy from the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute. He has received two grants from the Florida Department of Health to study late effects following radiotherapy in pediatric cancer patients and personalizing radiation treatment in children using genomically-adjusted radiation dosing. He serves on the study committees for three Children’s Oncology Group Brain tumor trials (ACCL2031, ACNS2021, and ACNS2321), is Treasurer of the Proton Therapy Cooperative Group of North America, and Co-Chair of the Pediatric Subcommittee for the Proton Therapy Cooperative Group.
