I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a clinical focus in the treatment of sarcomas and primary bone and soft tissue tumors, as well as the care and management of metastatic carcinoma to skeletal sites. I have a background and active research that predominantly focuses on the peritumoral microenvironment, as well as novel theranostics for musculoskeletal neoplasms. I have worked on in vitro and in vivo models of sarcomas and osseous carcinoma metastases, particularly regarding the evaluation of tissue, cell, and subcellular factors related to effective treatment and tumor cell-matrix interactions, and efforts to decrease local recurrence.
