Associate Professor of Surgery
UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA IRVINE
I joined the faculty at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in the Division of Surgical Oncology in 2014. I completed my medical school training at New York Medical College before commencing my residency in general surgery at UC Irvine. During my residency, I spent two years doing clinical research in hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancies. After residency, I am one of the first graduating fellows from the newly ACGME accredited fellowships in Complex General Surgical Oncology at the University of South Florida/H. Lee Moffitt Comprehensive Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining the faculty at UC Irvine, I did an additional year researching surgical management of cutaneous melanoma and soft tissue sarcomas. My clinical interests include cutaneous malignancies, endocrine diseases and soft tissue sarcomas.
