Clinical Associate/Assistant Professor
Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center
I am an Assistant Professor and Clinical Associate in the adult musculoskeletal sarcoma program in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University. I provide clinical care for people with soft tissue and bone sarcomas and connective tissue tumors. I am active member of the Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration (SARC), as well as the Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS), two multi-institutional, international research groups dedicated to developing new therapeutic strategies for patients with sarcoma. Further, as a member of the NCCN soft tissue sarcoma panel, I review past and current clinical trial data to develop a standard of care for the treatment of multiple sarcoma subtypes. I am a principal investigator or co-principal investigator at my institution on several sarcoma-specific clinical trials run through SARC, the Alliance, as well as through collaborations with my colleagues at Johns Hopkins. Our sarcoma multidisciplinary clinic endeavors to provide comprehensive care planning through group discussion among surgical, radiation, pathology, and radiology colleagues with expertise in sarcoma.
