Research Fellow in Sarcoma
University Hospitals Birmingham, United Kingdom
I am a Belgian sarcoma fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon. I have been involved in the care of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours over the past couple of years and have broadened my knowledge and skills in sarcoma surgery in the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. I strongly believe that research is a fundamental cornerstone in the field of Orthopaedic Oncology and combining a clinical career with research is really something what I aim for. My objective for the future is to pursue a career in orthopaedic oncology surgery and to further conduct high quality research aiming to improve patient outcomes and quality of care, and to provide formal teaching and training in my career.
