Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellow

Alicia Gingrich is a Complex General Surgical Oncology fellow at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She attended Johns Hopkins for her bachelors degree in Molecular and Cellular biology. Following this, she served 5 years on active duty in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. Once her military committment was complete, she attended medical school at the University of Kansas. She matched to General Surgery residency at the University of California, Davis. While there, she also completed a Masters degree in Integrative Genetics and Genomics. Her interests include transcriptomics of soft tissue sarcomas, particularly with regards to immune infiltrate.
