Karen Goddard, Clinical professor, University of British Columbia, is the Medical lead of the BC Cancer Agency Late Effects, Assessment and Follow-up (LEAF) Clinic and was instrumental in establishing this program. She is also a pediatric radiation oncologist and has been a part of the pediatric oncology team for 30 years. Her special clinical interests include survivorship and late effects (long-term health problems and risks after treatment for childhood and adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer), pediatric radiation oncology, the management of soft tissue and bone sarcomas and Canadian Health Law (she graduated in 2014 with an interdisciplinary degree in Law and Medicine from the University of British Columbia).
She is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), currently serving as the Radiation Oncology representative for the COG Internal Performance Monitoring Committee.
