Dr. Berthiaume completed her medical studies at the Université de Montréal in 1986. She completed post graduate training in radiology at the Université de Montréal and a fellowship program in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of California (UCSD).
She has been the dedicated musculoskeletal radiologist at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont since 2004. She has a particular interest and expertise in musculoskeletal oncology, in the context of a tertiary referral center. She helped create and develop the multidisciplinary sarcoma team, and contributes daily to patient management in this context.
Dr. Berthiaume is also involved in a number of research projects with this team, including numerous publications and book chapters. She is very involved in teaching residents and medical students from the Université de Montréal.
