Dr Cormac Owens works at Children’s Health Ireland (CHI). Dr Owens is a paediatric oncologist and clinical lead of the National Children’s Cancer Service Trials Unit. He is the solid tumour lead for the Irish paediatric cancer sequencing programme (MAGIC-I).
Cormac is a board member of SIOPE and Vice-President of SIOPEN. He is a member of EpSSG and the EuroEWING consortium. He is the chair of the new drug development committee of SIOPEN and the SIOPEN High-Risk strategy group coordinator.
He was a member of the BEACON-neuroblastoma trial steering group (EudraCT Number: 2012-000072-42). He is a member of the SIOPEN HR2 clinical trial steering group (EudraCT : 2019-001068-31) and is a co-investigator of the BEACON2-neuroblastoma clinical trial in development.
