Dr. Gedminas completed pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan followed by a pediatric solid tumor fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is currently at Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City, IA. She has a focus on pediatric sarcomas and completed research investigating new therapies for desmoplastic small round cell tumor and Ewing sarcoma and currently focuses on early phase trials for relapsed and refractory sarcomas.
