I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the University of California San Francisco. I did my Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal. In my postdoctoral research, I am currently aiming to identify druggable co-regulators of PAX3-FOXO1 in rhabdomyosarcoma to directly tackle a therapeutic challenge. I am studying the selectively essential factors involved in chromatin dynamics and genomic stability in alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. I now seek to apply the strong skills in classical genetics and biochemistry I gained during my graduate research to better understand chromatin dynamics and genomic stability in pediatric cancer. My goal is to become an independent investigator, using basic biologic tools to drive therapeutic development for oncogene-driven childhood cancers.
