Dr.Novak received the Medical degree at the Medical Faculty of the University Ljubljana in 1999 and passed the Board exam in General Surgery in 2005. Since then he works as a sarcoma surgeon at the Institute of Oncology Ljubljana, leading the sarcoma MDT since 2017. He is preparing lectures for medical students covering sarcoma topic and is manager of sarcoma DB at his Institution since 2009. In 2011 he visited IGR in Paris, 2013 QEH in Birmingham and INT Milan in 2018. His team joined the TARPSWG in 2016.
