George Li, MD is an Assistant Attending Surgeon on the Gastric and Mixed Tumor Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He reeceived his medical degree from Duke University, completed a general surgery residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. His clinical practice is focused on the surgical care of patients with soft tissue sarcoma and gastric cancer. He is also developing a translational research program focused on identifying novel predictive biomarkers and actionable targets in soft tissue sarcomas. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 1-year old daughter, cooking, and running.
