Saskia Litière, MSc, PhD (she/her/hers)

Saskia Litière obtained her degree of Applied Mathematics at the University of Ghent in Belgium in 2001, the degree of MSc in Biostatistics at the UHasselt University in 2004 and her PhD degree on the topic of misspecification in generalized linear mixed models in 2007 at UHasselt University. In September 2010 she joined the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) statistical team, since January 2017 as the Associate Head of the Statistics Department and since 2020 as the Head of the Statistics Department. She has worked with the EORTC Breast Cancer Group, the Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma Group, the Genito-Urinary Group and the Imaging Group. She is also an active member of the RECIST Working Group. Her main research interests include designs for rare cancers and response assessment.
