Professionally, I graduated from Minnesota State Univeristy-Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in biology with an emphasis in health and medical sciences and a minor in psychology in 2011. I continued my education in the field of Medical Dosimetry, graduating with my masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2014 and have been a certified Medical Dosimetrist for the last 9 years. I started my career in Medical Dosimetry at the Ohio State Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center before transitioning to a small community hospital in Wisconsin and finally, Mayo Clinic, where I currently work as the supervisor of Medical Dosimetry for our midwest practice. In my previous planning roles, I had a special interest in prone breast photon planning, proton head and neck planning and proton breast planning. I have a special interest in Medical Dosimetry education and have been a clinical preceptor and adjunct faculty specializing in student research for the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse Medical Dosimetry program since 2016. In 2021, I became an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology. My current professional interests include integration of AI into radiation therapy and the future of heavy particle therapies.
