Division Chief Hematology-Oncology
Nemours Children's Health
Dr. Anderson Collier III currently serves as the Division Chief of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, Florida. He obtained his medical degree from Vanderbilt School of Medicine. From there he completed his training in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He has served as faculty of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network/University of South Florida Medical School, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center prior to joining Nemours in May 2023. While at UMMC, he served as division chief and held the D. Jeanette Pullen Chair of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
Dr. Collier is an active member of the Children’s Oncology Group having served as institutional principal investigator and on the voting body steering committee. He is a member of the COG bone tumor committee and current serves as the bone tumor lead on COG ADVL1921/Pfizer A5481092: a phase 2 study evaluating Palbociclib in combination with irinotecan and temozolomide for relapsed or refractor Ewing sarcoma.
Dr. Collier has authored 27 peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented at numerous national and international meetings. He is a member of COG, ASCO, ASPHO, and CTOS.
