Research Coordinator
British Columbia Children's Hospital Research Institute, Canada
I have been a Clinical Research Coordinator with the Pediatric Anesthesia Research Team (PART) and the Digital Health Innovation Lab (DHIL) at BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute since 2011. My research has focused on closed-loop control of anaesthesia, side effects of postoperative pain therapies, pediatric pain assessment, preoperative anxiety, digital health technologies, chronic pain therapies, and global health. I have 45 peer-reviewed journal articles published since 2013 (8 as first author), 4 book chapters, and have presented at 9 conferences. My work now involves coordinating the design, approval, planning, conduct, and publication of clinical research studies in both PART and DHIL, collaborating with fellow researchers, computer & biomedical engineers, doctors, nurses, psychologists, and administrators at the BC Children's Hospital, the Centre for International Child Health, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, and the Royal Columbian Hospital in Westminster, BC.
