Dr. Yoshinao Oda has 34 years of experience in diagnostic pathology of bone and soft tissue tumors. He is currently a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anatomic Pathology and Vice Dean in Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kyushu University. He is also Director of Diagnostic Pathology Division in Kyushu University Hospital. His primary research interests have included diagnostic and molecular pathology in bone and soft tissue tumor. He serves on the Editorial Board of Skeletal Radiology and is also associate editor or reviewer for multiple pathology journals. He is the author or co-author of over 940 peer reviewed papers and editorial board of 2013 and 2020 WHO Classification of Soft Tissue and Bone Tumours. He also serves as President of Japanese Society of Pathology, President of Japanese Division of International Academy of Pathology, and Past-President of International Society of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology.
