Ms. Janie Barry completed her university studies at the University of Montreal from 2004 to 2012. She began her university career by completing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences during which she developed a passion for clinical research. In 2007, she was recruited by the orthopedic research team at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Wishing to increase her knowledge in clinical research, she completed a master's degree in drug development, clinical research option, which allowed her to solidify her spirit and scientific rigor.
Since joining the team, Ms. Barry has developed numerous research projects, including the one that led to the creation of the Réseau Sarcome Québec, formalized in May 2018. She is an integral part of the orthopedics department, collaborator in research work in orthopedics oncology, arthroplasty, sports medicine and the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases in the population with bleeding disorders.
