Emma Wrenn, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Beth Lawlor’s lab in the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research at Seattle Children's Research Institute. She received her PhD from the University of Washington’s Molecular & Cellular Biology Graduate Program. Dr. Wrenn conducted her dissertation research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Dr. Kevin Cheung’s lab, studying how cell-cell interactions promote metastasis in breast cancer. Her current research focuses on the relationship between epigenetic plasticity, the tumor microenvironment, and metastasis in Ewing sarcoma.
