Maria Nirvana c. Formiga had Medical Degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande
do Norte (2002), residency in Internal Medicine at UNESP (2005), fellowship in Medical Oncology at A.C.Camargo Cancer Center (2008).She also had Master´s degree in Oncology (2012) and PhD in Oncology (2016), with research Project in Li Fraumeni Syndrome Cohort Patients. Currently, She is Senior Staff Physician at A.C. Camargo Cancer Center, in Medical Oncology Department (since 2008) and Oncogenetics Department (since 2010), Sao Paulo, Brazil. Board certified in Medical Oncology with expertise in Genitourinary Cancers, Bone and Soft tissue sarcomas and Hereditary Cancer Syndromes. Besides clinical activities in solid tumors
treatment, she provides Genetic Counseling in Cancer Risk Program at A.C. Camargo Cancer Center and also takes part in training doctors and residents. She holds a position as advisor and professor for postdoctoral
program at A.C.Camargo Cancer Center with major focus in clinical research projects of urological cancers and hereditary syndromes.
