Giuseppe Maria Milano, MD PhD, works as a paediatric oncologist by 2002 at one of the largest European paediatric hospitals, the Bambino Gesù childrens hospital in Rome, the second centre for enrolment in Italy for soft tissue and bone sarcoma. He coordinates a multidisciplinary team, namely sarcoma tumour board, over follows lab translational research projects on soft tissue and bone sarcoma.
He is PI of several clinical trials, academic and sponsored, involved in phase I unite CTC and callular therapy program. He is member of the European paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcoma Study Group (EpSSG) since 2010 and board member of the Italian Sarcoma Group (ISG), as well as other national and international scientific societies. Author and co-author of more than 80 papers.
