Leti van Bodegom-Vos graduated in Health Sciences at Maastricht University in 2004, with specializations in Movement Sciences and Health Policy and Administration. After obtaining her master’s degree, she worked as a researcher at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences of Maastricht University Medical Centre and at the Netherlands Institute for Health Services Research. Her research concentrated at implementation of improvements in the organization of care delivery. In 2010, she obtained her PhD at Maastricht University (“Towards process-oriented care delivery in hospitals”). From January 2010 – May 2013 she was appointed as ZonMw implementation fellow at the Department of Medical Decision Making of the University Medical Centre in Leiden. Since May 2013, Leti van Bodegom-Vos is staff member at the LUMC department of Biomedical Data Sciences, section Medical Decision Making. Her main research interest is the implementation of innovations and/ or de-implementation of ‘low-value care’ (with the aim to improve quality and/ or efficiency of care delivery). She is currently PI for several (de)implementation studies and involved in several (de)implementation (research)projects in orthopedic surgery.
