Research Assistant Professor
Fox Chase Cancer Center
Prior to being committed to scientific research, I had completed clinical training in Medicine and pathology residency training in China. I have more than twenty years of expertise in human and laboratory animal anatomic pathology. My overall research interest lies in studying pathological alterations during the initiation and progression of various human malignancies. I have extensive experience in molecular pathology, computer-assisted quantitative image analysis, laser capture microdissection, and Tissue Microarray analysis. I have been actively collaborating with the investigators in numerous basic and translational research projects.
I served as a co-director from 2014-2021 and have been serving as a director of the histopathology facility since 2021. As director and experiment pathologist at the Histopathology Facility, I am responsible for the histopathological and cytological evaluation of experimental tissues and oversee the day-to-day function of the Histopathology Facility to ensure the high-quality of all services. I continue to apply and explore cutting-edge technologies such as multiplex immunohistochemistry, digital slide scanning, and digital image analysis and provide histopathology consultations to cancer center members.
