MSK Radiology Attending
Duke University Hospital
Prior to arriving at Duke Radiology in July 2018, I spent the first five years of my post-graduate medical career at the institution where I trained as a resident, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC). Not long after being hired as a staff radiologist at LHMC I was asked to serve as the Assistant Program Director (APD) of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
Throughout my career I have been drawn to a wide array of educational opportunities. Upon completing my MSK Radiology fellowship, I was honored to receive the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Radiology Fellow Teaching Award, presented by the senior radiology residents. As faculty at LHMC I was actively involved with Tufts University School of Medicine both for medical student General and Advanced Radiology electives as well as volunteering to give diagnostic imaging lectures to physician assistant students. Prior to my arrival at Duke, I spearheaded the training and certification for 3 sonographers to obtain MSK ultrasound certification, leading to the creation of an MSK Ultrasound CME course at LHMC. But perhaps my most cherished achievement was this past spring when I received the Duke Radiology Reed P. Rice MD Award for Excellence in Teaching of a Junior Faculty Member on behalf of the senior class of the Duke Radiology Residency.
