Megan Anderson is an orthopaedic oncology surgeon in Boston working at Boston Children's Hospital at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. After undergraduate studies at Wellesley College, she completed her MD at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation led to a passion for tumor surgery and fellowship in Boston at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Oncology Fellowship. She was recruited to stay at Boston Children's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after fellowship and has been there ever since, now serving as Chief of Orthopaedic Oncology at BCH and Division Chief of Orthopaedic Oncology at BIDMC. Her acadmic position was recently promoted to Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. Her clinical and research interests are in outcomes after tumor surgery and multidisciplinary collaboration to acheive remission and cure for patients with sarcoma. She is active in the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, Children's Oncology Group, the New England Orthopedic Society along with CTOS.
