Dr Subotheni Thavaneswaran is a Staff Specialist in Medical Oncology at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, St Vincent’s Hospital, NSW, Senior Research Fellow at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, University of Sydney and Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. Subotheni has over 7 years of experience as a clinician researcher, with sub-speciality clinical interests in neuro-oncology and colorectal cancers as well as research interests in cancer genomics/precision oncology, clinical trials and translational oncology. She completed her PhD at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Sydney in 2020, developing expertise in cancer genomics and the translation of genomic output to inform clinical care.
