After graduating with her MBBCh medical degree from the Ain Shams University, Egypt, She completed her Internal Medicine residency in Detroit medical Center, Michigan. She then completed her Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Henry Ford Health, Michigan. Following her fellowship, Dr. Girgis joined the Henry Ford team as senior staff physician specializing in Breast cancer, Head& neck cancers and Sarcoma. Her interest is in tumor biology and microenvironment. She also has an interest in new developments, clinical trials and research.
She also serves as a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine.
