I am a postdoctoral scholar and my research is focused on investigating the molecular pathways associated with tumor transformation and progression in retroperitoneal liposarcoma. I have a broad background in molecular and cellular biology, with specific training and expertise in multifactorial phenomenon of chemo-resistance and tumor biology. As PI or co-Investigator on several projects, I laid the groundwork for the proposed research by contributing with my expertise in liposarcoma biology and by demonstrating preliminary data on the importance of alternatively spliced variants of MDM2 gene to liposarcoma patients recurrence.
