I'm a medical oncologist working in the sarcoma department of the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano under the lead of Prof. Casali, where I'm having the chance to deal with patients mostly affected by STS and ultrarare sarcomas. During my last year of residency i've attended a fellowship at The Netherland Cancer Institute in Amsterdam which gave me the chance to deepen my knowledge on clinical research and widen my perspectives on how sarcoma are treated around Europe, with a focus on the AYA population.
I'm passionate about medicine and oncology in particular, considering the personal and psychological approach that is needed to work in this field.
I like to build a relationship with my patients in order for them to trust me as a doctor. What I find interesting about sarcomas it is the heterogeneity of the disease and the multimodal approach which allows me to confront myself with other specialist on a daily basis.
