Dr. Hasgur, DVM, Ph.D., is a Faculty Staff in the Center for Immunotherapy and Precision Immuno-Oncology (CITI) at Cleveland Clinic. She holds impressive educational qualifications, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She is a dynamic and accomplished Immunologist with over ten years of experience in cellular and molecular immunology, specializing in immuno-oncology research. Her research focuses on approaches to enhance T cell response to cancer, with an emphasis on engineering T cells for adoptive immunotherapy. She runs innovative studies involving the use of cancer immunotherapy to (a) initiate immune responses, (b) expand immune responses, and (c) allow the immune responses to be effective within the tumor microenvironment. She also has extensive expertise in developing humanized mouse models to study human regenerative medicine, immunity, human-specific infectious agents, and cancer.
