Rui Cao is currently a PhD candidate in the Division of Biostatistics at the University of Minnesota. He has a wide research interest in addressing genetic/genomic scientific questions through statistical approaches. While in school, he earned the 2020 John E. Connett First Year Student Achievement Award for his strong class performance.
