Nadia Zaffaroni graduated with honors in Biological Sciences at the University of Milan and received her Ph.D. in Biotechnological Applications from the same University.
She is the head of the Molecular Pharmacology Unit at the Department of Applied Research and Technological Development, Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori of Milan, Italy. Her research activity is mainly focused on the identification and functional validation of novel therapeutic targets as well as at the development of innovative treatment approaches in patient-derived experimental models of different tumor types, with special reference to soft-tissue sarcomas.
