Instructor
Memorial Sloan Kettering
After graduating from Johns Hopkins with a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology, I joined the MD/PhD program at Duke and worked under Dr. David Kirsch, where I used autochthonous mouse models to investigate how hypoxia-inducible factors affected cancer metastasis and radiation therapy response in adult soft tissue sarcomas. I completed my residency in Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering. My research focus is to use genetically engineered mouse models to study the biology of human cancers, with a primary focus on pediatric and adult sarcomas. Clinically, I work with Dr. Kaled Alektiar to improve radiation therapy for patients with soft tissue sarcoma.
