Johan. (Hans) L. Bloem, MD, PhD is professor of Radiology at the department of radiology in Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands since 1992. He is an active member of various professional organizations including RSNA, ESSR, ESR, ISS, ISMRM, ESMRMB, EMRI and is honorary member of 5 societies. He does editorial and review work for various journals including skeletal radiology. He authored 5 text books, more than 250 papers, and many book chapters.
