Dr. Matteo Trucco is the Director of the Children’s Cancer Innovative Therapy Program and Clinical Director for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Department at Cleveland Clinic Children’s. He is also a practicing Pediatric Oncologist at Cleveland Clinic Children’s and Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, and an Associate Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He joined the Cleveland Clinic in November 2019 and develops clinical trials both locally and in collaboration with national consortia and pharmaceutical companies to identify new and less toxic treatments for children with cancer. Dr. Trucco serves as Co-chair of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Sunshine Project Consortium, a member of the advisory board for the MIB Agents, SebastianStrong and Clear Cell Sarcoma Foundations, and moderates the multi-institutional, virtual National Ewing Sarcoma (NEWS) Tumor Board, and the Tumor Review Board for Osteosarcoma (TURBO).
