Consultant Medical Oncologist

Stefania Kokkali, MD, MSc, is currently a consultant Medical Oncologist in General Hospital of Athens Hippocratio. She graduated from University of Athens - Medical School in 2006. She completed a residency in medical oncology in Strasbourg University Hospital, France, in 2015. She earned her Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Physiopathology in Strasbourg University in 2010. Between 2016 and 2021 she worked as consulant medical oncologist in Saint-Savvas Cancer Hospital in Athens.
Dr Kokkali has participated in several phase 2 and 3 clinical trials in both France and Greece. Her main field of activity and research is sarcoma and breast cancer. She is a founding member of the Hellenic Group of Sarcoma and Rare Cancers (HGSRC) and treasurer of the group since 2019. She is involved in different research projects of HGSRC and she is initiator of the Greek Sarcoma Registry. She is also a PhD candidate in University of Athens - Medical School, working on immunotherapy in L-sarcomas.
Dr Kokkali's work has been published in peer-reviewed papers, as well as in national and international abstracts.
