Humanitas Clinical and Research hospital, Italy
I graduated in Veterinary Biotechnology at the University of Milan and obtained my PhD in Molecular Biotechnology at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza. My research focused on microbiology and nutrigenomic projects to study the interactions between gut microflora, diet and host gene expression. During her Postdoctoral fellowship I studied the development of metastasis in tumors by generating transgenic mice. From 2018 I am a Laboratory Technician in the group of Maria Rescigno, supporting all the activities in laboratory and in the animal house. I am also involved in several translational projects on the role of microbiota in different diseases.
