Michael Chorny earned his PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed his postdoctoral research training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) before joining the University of Pennsylvania and CHOP as a faculty in 2009. His research focuses on design, evaluation, and optimization of drug, gene, and cell therapeutics for treating cancer and cardiovascular disease.
