I am a PhD candidate in the Andrulis-Wunder lab at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute. We study sarcomas and the tumour-immune microenvironment. I have a specific interest in Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcomas and how tumour-derived cytokine signalling may shape the UPS microenvironment. My project involves characterizing primary cell lines, assessing differences in cytokine output and modulating key genes in the interferon gamma pathway to better understand their functions in tumour-mediated cytokine secretion.
