Dr. Steven Robinson is an Associate Professor of Oncology in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is a longstanding member of the their sarcoma care team and chairs the Mayo Clinic Rochester Sarcoma Tumor Board. Dr. Robinson's primary focus is on improving the outcome of patients with sarcoma and is engaged in clinical and translational research. He is actively involved in the cooperative groups, and is the Principal Investigator (PI) of clinical trials through the NCI Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN) and Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology (where he presently serves as the co-chair of the sarcoma working group). He is an active member of the Midwest Sarcoma Trial Partnership. Dr. Robinson co-chairs the Development Research Program (DRP) of the multiinstitutional Leiomyosarcoma SPORE spearheaded by the University of Michigan and his laboratory research is focused on the use of oncolytic viruses in sarcoma.
