Brandon Rose was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and San Diego, CA. He obtained his college degree in Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of California Santa Barbara. He went to medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he earned his dual-degree M.D./M.P.H. degree. He currently is an Internal Medicine resident (PGY2) at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital and Miami VA, where he works on several research projects with the UM Sylvester Sarcoma Team. He will be applying for a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology to pursue a career in Medical Oncology. He is an advanced open-source coder interested in data pipelines for research and patient care, especially as it relates to cancer care.
