Medical Oncology Fellow
MD Anderson Cancer Center
I am a medical oncology fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center pursuing a career as a laboratory-based physician scientist focusing on the research and treatment of sarcomas. I completed my BS, PhD, and MD degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My PhD was in Cell & Molecular Biology and focused on mechanisms of genomic instability in cancer. I then completed my internal medicine residency at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital. I am interested in better understanding genomic events in sarcomas and their effects on the sarcoma epigenome. Outside of science and medicine, I am an avid fan of all Wisconsin sports (Badgers, Packers, Bucks, and Brewers), I play tennis competitively, and I also enjoy running, swimming, hiking, and homebrewing.
