Nikita completed her undergraduate degree at Harvard University where she majored in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and minored in Global Health and Health Policy. She graduated magna cum lade. She went on to attend Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where she conducted research on immunosurveillence of breast cancer, targeted muscle reinnervation, the surgeon champion as an intervention for quality improvement and treatment selection for desmoid tumors. Previously she worked on a novel therapy to decrease chemotherapy resistance in pancreatic cancer by targeting the LATS1/2 kinase in the Hippo pathway. Nikita is currently a PGY-1 resident in Internal Medicine at the Univerity of Florida.
